Guess the Poster challenges your visual recognition skills. Movie posters are iconic pieces of art, designed to convey the mood and story of a film in a single image. But can you recognize them when they are just a blur of colors?

The De-Blurring Mechanic

This game uses a unique progressive reveal system:

• Stage 1 (Pixelated): The image is heavily distorted. Only the primary colors and basic shapes are visible. Identifying a movie here proves you are a true expert.
• Stage 3 (Blurry): Text becomes vague shapes, and faces might be distinguishable. This is where most casual players start to get an idea.
• Stage 5 (Clear): The poster is almost fully sharp. If you haven't guessed it by now, it's your last chance before the round ends!

Iconic vs. Obscure

The game cycles through a mix of universally famous posters (like Jaws or Star Wars) and modern minimalist designs. It trains your eye to look for composition, color palettes, and typography—essential elements of cinematic marketing.
